A gorgeous lightweight, off-white handwoven fabric, complete with black and red flowers that have been screen printed by hand.
Price is per metre. Multiple quantities will be cut in a continuous length.
A lightweight fabric with a warm hand feel and soft drape. In a design that transcends seasons, it can be used for clothing and is also perfect for soft furnishings.
The yarn is handspun, and the fabric is handwoven using organic cotton, so the farmers and cotton processors do not come into contact with pesticides, herbicides or chemical fertilisers. The material is woven within a community that is certified fair trade by the World Fair Trade Organisation - so you can feel reassured that the weavers and farmers were not harmed in the making and paid a fair price for their beautiful work.
The design is also printed by hand using the screenprinting method (rather than a block, as was the original technique when we first started stocking this fabric). The dyes are ironable and colourfast (although we always recommend washing your materials before you use them), and the fabric can be washed in washing machines.
Pair the fabric with this silky, white organic cotton thread and some beautiful, ethical buttons. Not sure if the fabric's the right one for you? Please pick up a swatch first, or contact our expert team, who will respond within one working day: info@offsetwarehouse.com.

This fabric is handwoven using organic cotton, so the farmers and cotton processors do not come into contact with pesticides, herbicides or chemical fertilisers. The material is woven within a community certified fair trade by the WFTO. Although it does not have organic certification, due to the additional expense this incurs, which the weavers can not currently afford, this is far better for people and the planet than conventional cotton.
Organic cotton is better for our soil because no pesticides, chemical fertilisers or herbicides have been used. It means that no toxic substances are passed on in the processing and then through to the finished fabric. Eco bleaching is used for the white base, and dyes used for hand block print are azo-free and totally ironable and colourfast (although we always recommend washing your fabrics before you make). As it is handwoven, the process from raw material production to weaving and printing uses little energy and water.

Sewing experience: This fabric is a joy to sew and suitable for beginners.
Suitable for the washing machine and tumble dryer, though to protect the hand-blocked natural dye print for longer, we recommend hand washing any item you make with this textile. Iron med-hot temperature on the reverse to protect the print.
Turn the machine down to 30 degrees for a more environmentally friendly wash. In Europe alone, if every household turned its washing temperature down to 30°C, we could save 12 million tons of CO2 a year.
We also recommend line drying as this reduces energy usage and looks after your textiles for longer. Use a mild detergent, light botanical refresher or even just steam the item you've made in your bathroom after a shower.
Stepped pricing is available for 100 metres and over, so please inquire if you are looking for large amounts. We love working with smaller brands: purchase one metre and upwards directly from the website and email us for wholesale quantities for bulk production when you're ready. We welcome large and small orders from brands of all sizes. See our full wholesale guidelines here.
Due to the nature of handwoven and hand-block printed fabrics, there can be irregularities in the weave and print, along with variations in batch dye colour. We feel these irregularities add to the charm and authenticity of these stunning textiles. If you receive your product and are at all disappointed with what you have received, please get in touch: info@offsetwarehouse.com.
Please note that refunds are not possible once fabrics have been cut, unless in the unfortunate event that your material arrives damaged. Please order a swatch before purchasing your metre lengths. Please see our Refunds and Cancellation Policy page for full details.
