Knitted, iron-on fusible interfacing in white. This fusible has a brushed quality, so it's a little thicker but still incredibly lightweight, with a good stretch. For a more crisp, firm structure, we recommend the Cotton Viscose Fusible Interfacing. It is incredibly easy to use - simply place the glued side onto your fabric and press with a hot iron. Blast a bit of steam to start, to loosen the glue, but then turn the steam completely off. This interfacing is ideal for knitted, stretch fabrics, but can equally be used for nonstretch wovens. It may restrict any stretch that the fabric had originally, so always test on a scrap of fabric beforehand.
Interfacing is used to add stiffness, strength or body to a fabric. Interfacing is used on areas that need a little extra body, such as shirt collars, or for strengthening, like buttonholes. If you're working with a knit fabric, you might use interfacing to keep the fabric from stretching out of shape.
Suitable for the washing machine & tumble dryer.
Turn the machine down to 30 degrees for a more environmentally friendly wash. In Europe alone, if every household turned its washing temperature down to 30°C, we could save 12 million tons of CO2 a year
Knit and woven fabrics that need stiffening, strengthening or to keep in place.
