Stunning satin weave fabric made of 100% recycled polyester (rPET). That's right... the fibres were once bottles!
Price is per metre. Multiple quantities will be cut as a continuous length.
In gorgeous soft ecru colour, this fabric truly glows. It is soft and supple and drapes beautifully. One side has the sheen that you would expect from a satin weave and feels slinky on the skin, while the other has a much more matte, almost brushed finish to it like a peach. You can use either as the right side depending on the look and purpose of your product.
Due to the tightly structured weave, it has a small amount of UV protection and chlorine/salt resistance and will dry quickly. It has a small amount of water resistance, known as Standard Durable Water Repellency (DWR), where water beads on the surface, though will become wet when saturated.
This fabric has also been successfully sublimation printed and can be digitally printed using water-based inks. Please test smaller meterage or samples for specific projects before ordering and printing in bulk.
Also available in teal, turquoise, khaki, bright blue and mustard.
Best matched with our Natural Organic Cotton thread. Pair with recycled zips and recycled polyester cushions. Find more fabrics and haberdashery with recycled fibre content.

Recycled materials ensure that post-consumer waste is utilised rather than virgin resources. GRS (Global Recycle Standard) is an international, voluntary, full product standard that sets requirements for third-party certification of recycled content, chain of custody, social and environmental practices and chemical restrictions. The production facility is GRS-certified for this particular fabric. It's sometimes found that recycling facilities are using virgin plastic bottles rather than collected post-consumer waste, so this certificate not only ensures safe import of the material but the management of health and safety for workers too.
As this is 100% polyester, it can also be recycled again. Polyester does not biodegrade, however, due to the fabric's tight weave and finish, it is long-lasting, ensuring a durable product.
The OHSAS 18001 certification is one of the International Standard for Occupational Health and Safety Management Systems, providing a framework for the effective management of OH&S, including all aspects of risk management and legal compliance.
ISO:9001 is a quality management certification, ensuring that the raw material does come from post-consumer waste and is managed in accordance with health and safety regulations for synthetic polymers.
ISO:14001 refers to an environmental management certification that supports a framework for the measurement and improvement of environmental impact.
Oeko-Tex Standard 100 certification ensures that the fabric has been tested for harmful substances and that the textile is therefore harmless in human ecological terms. Tested by independent regulators, it cannot be falsified.
The Green Mark environmental management certification gives guidance to producers on legislation so that they rigorously follow procedures.

Sewing Experience: this fabric is easy to work with, however, as it can be slippery, we recommend a base level of sewing knowledge.
Suitable for washing machines and cool tumble drying, but we recommend cooler washing and air drying.
Turn the machine down to 30 degrees for a more environmentally friendly wash. In Europe alone, if every household turned its washing temperature down to 30°C, we could save 12 million tons of CO2 a year. We recommend line drying as this reduces energy usage and looks after your textiles for longer. Use a mild detergent, light botanical refresher or even just steam the item you've made in your bathroom after a shower. Iron on a medium temperature.
Stepped pricing is available on 25 metres and over, so please inquire if you are looking for large amounts. We love working with smaller brands: purchase one metre and upwards directly from the website and email us for wholesale quantities for bulk production when you're ready. We welcome large and small orders from brands of all sizes.
Please note that refunds are not possible once fabrics have been cut, unless in the unfortunate event that your material arrives damaged. We recommend ordering a swatch before purchasing your metre lengths to avoid any disappointment. Please see our Refunds and Cancellation Policy page for full details.
If you are unhappy with the material you purchase, please let us know, and we'll do our best to rectify it immediately: info@offsetwarehouse.com.
Think this fabric is great, it has such a lovely feel. I just want to stroke it all day. Really versatile, easy to sew and print on.
Great fabric! Love the feel of the matte side, it’s perfect for a community artwork we are creating. Looks beautiful with the heat transfer printing we are using!
This fabric is a lot nicer that I could have imagined, great to work with and is perfect for what I am working on. I cannot wait to purchase more once I have the money. Such lovely and friendly staff to deal with also.

I love the soft but stiff feel of this fabric. Offset Warehouse were really helpful in helping me get my samples together and finding the right fabric for my project.
