Cornflower Organic Voile
A beautifully soft, powdered colour - almost luminous against white. In folklore, cornflowers were worn by young men in love. This fabric is a little heavier than your usual voile but still incredibly lightweight, airy and breathable. It has a crisp, matt texture and a good drape, with a sheerness and a slightly open weave - beautifully even for a hand-woven voile. Will soften a little in the wash. As this fabric is woven by hand, please note that it might contain some tiny irregularities, but this just adds to its authenticity. In folklore, cornflowers were worn by young men in love; if the flower faded too quickly, it was taken as a sign that the man's love was not returned.
