Lemon Yellow Linen

Regular price £35.00 Sale price £17.50

A smooth, lightweight lemon yellow linen fabric. This is slightly translucent, due to a more open weave and light colour, so you may want to line the material for clothing, but this is great for curtains and blinds where you don't want too much blacking out. The perfect weight and tone for interiors, plus summer dresses, tunics and trousers.

Limited quantity, once it's gone it's gone!

Ethical production:

Linen is a hardy material that doesn't need any additional water for irrigation - just rain water - unlike cotton, which needs an awful lot. The flax plant does need to be replanted each year, but it actually helps keep the soil fertile. Produced in Italy, the carbon footprint is kept within Europe and also production facilities are generally top notch.

Limited available - once it's gone, it's gone!

Please note: the colour was tricky to capture! See the bundle image: the lemon yellow linen is at the bottom.

Linen wears beautifully for many years, and darns nicely too. This fabric has also been saved from landfill due to overstock. Breathable and versatile.

To care for your product:

Suitable for the washing machine and tumble dryer.

Turn the machine down to 30 degrees for a more environmentally friendly wash. In Europe alone, if every household turned its washing temperature down to 30°C, we could save 12 million tons of CO2 a year.

We also recommend line drying as this reduces energy usage and looks after your textiles for longer. Use a mild detergent, light botanical refresher or even just steam the item you've made in your bathroom after a shower.

Ideal For:

Hand Sewing; Machine Sewing; Clothing including skirts, dresses, tops, trousers and shorts; Soft Furnishings, including tablecloths and serviettes; Embroidery; Curtains and cushions
