Organic Navy Heera Diamond Cambric
A smooth, breathable organic cotton fabric with a diamond repeat pattern in white on a deep indigo blue colour. Although it hails from India, it has a distinctly Japanese feel to it. The fabric has been made using a powerloom in a certified Fairtrade weaving unit using GOTS organic certified fibres. The pattern has created using azo-free dyes. The fabric is wider than handwoven fabrics at 135cm, so it's particularly ideal for larger soft furnishings and clothing that requires a little more fabric, like jackets or trousers. The textile is matt and very lightweight, and has a slight transparency. Technically the print is on one side, but as the fabric is so thin, the ink has run through to both sides, and is virtually impossible to tell which side is the original - so the fabric can be used as double-sided.
