A smooth and soft organic cotton. Machine-manufactured, this is a good option for designers looking for a smooth consistency without slubs. The textile is slightly translucent, so you might want to line the material or double it for clothing - or even just use it as lining! Perfect for dyeing.
100% certified organic cotton means that no pesticides, herbicides or chemical fertilisers were used in the cotton crop farming and cultivation. Certifications also look at production and finishing to ensure no harmful toxins were used.
Cotton is breathable, long-lasting and this particular cloth is very neutral making it great for all sorts of products, and for a long time. This has also been saved from landfill due to overstock.
To care for your product:
Suitable for the washing machine and tumble dryer. Iron med-hot temperature.
Turn the machine down to 30 degrees for a more environmentally friendly wash. In Europe alone, if every household turned its washing temperature down to 30°C, we could save 12 million tons of CO2 a year.
We also recommend line drying as this reduces energy usage and looks after your textiles for longer. Use a mild detergent, light botanical refresher or even just steam the item you've made in your bathroom after a shower.
