Tyulipa Organic Hand Block Print250-CP4-B55-S
A gorgeous, organic, flower print fabric, complete with a line-drawn flower that has been printed in black with red highlights on top of a lovely dusty pink base. The tyulipa print originated in India, and has been printed by hand using a "hand-block" technique which gives the fabric a truly rich, authentic feel. The dyes used are totally ironable and colourfast (although we always recommend washing your fabrics before you make). Moreover, the organic flower print fabric has an almost muslin feel to it, and has an open weave with a wonderfully warm and soft texture. The fabric itself may contain some irregularities, but this only adds to its rustic appearance and doesn't affect the look or quality of the fabric. The dyes used to print the organic flower print fabric are azo-free, and the cotton is organic and totally biodegradable. The weaving and printing is done in a cooperative and certified Fair Trade by the WFTO. As the organic flower print fabric is handmade, the process uses virtually no energy or water! The fabric will soften a little in the wash and you will find that creases iron out easily.
