Woodblock printing or block printing is a technique for printing text, images or patterns onto textiles and paper.  It's a style of relief printing millennia old, with the first examples dating before 220 AD.  Carving the blocks by hand is skilled and laborious work, but a single block can create many impressions and patterns.  We stock many textiles printed using this expert process, and we're thrilled to sell the blocks that create these beautiful patterns so that you can enjoy experimenting with them in your home too.  We also provide naturally-derived inks here.
